Il Bristol City annuncia una novità clamorosa. L’ex allenatore dell’ Inter Roy Hodgson sarà il nuovo manager. Il comunicato stampa ufficiale del club in lingua originale che dà il welcome al nuovo arrivato
Roy Hodgson has been appointed as Interim Head Coach until the end of the season.
Former England Manager Hodgson will take charge of the Men’s First Team until the end of the season, while the club will task the incoming Sporting Director with appointing a permanent Head Coach for the 2026/27 campaign.
“Roy’s appointment is about more than the results of the next seven games. Over the remainder of the season, he will help us set the standards and values at the club that we will need to be successful going forwards.
“We are in the process of appointing a Sporting Director who will have a direct input into the recruitment of a new permanent Head Coach.”
Hodgson will meet first team players and staff on Monday, March 30th when they return from the international break and prepare the team for the trip to Charlton Athletic on Friday, April 3rd.
Hodgson joins City following an illustrious managerial career in England and abroad, with a track record of success at both a domestic and international level. His last role was a return to Premier League side Crystal Palace – a side he had huge success with across two spells.
