Guardiola‘s famous taca taca wins the Manchester derby and City goes top of the table with four wins in a row. For Mourinho and his United a defeat that leaves much to think about especially the defence and the lack of a player able to construct play in midfield.
Forty minutes of good quality football was enough for Man. City to open up the Red Devil‘s defence and score twice through De Bruyne (15′) and
Iheanacho‘s 35’ tap in.
Mourinho‘s side managed to pull one back 3’ from half time when Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted home a loose ball after a blunder by City‘s new keeper Claudio Bravo.

A point behind Spurs, Liverpool who on their home debut trashed champions Leicester 4-1 with Firmino resulting the man of the match with two goals. The other goals for the Reds netted by Mané and Lallana whilst Vardy pulled one back for the Foxes.
On level points with the Reds, Arsenal who had to wait up to the 94′ to earn the 3 points with a Santi Cazorla‘s penalty over a determined Southampton side.
