While Coutinho shines in Liverpool victory over Arsenal, Mourinho is all smiles as the Red Devils demolish Bournemouth.
First three points for Josè Mourinho at the helm of Manchester United as they crushed Bournemouth 3-1 in their opening match of the season.
But it was only in the second 45′ that the Red Devils showed all the striking power after they took the lead thanks to an error by Bournemouth defender Simon Francis who opened the road for Juan Mata to score the first goal of the season for Manchester United in the 40′.
In the second period poor Bournemouth could do little to keep United forwards from adding two more goals from Wayne Rooney‘s header in the 59’ and a terrific shot from outside the box by Zlatan Ibrahimovic who could not be absent from the scoring sheet on his debut in the Premiership.

At the Emirates, Arsenal faced Liverpool in a match that both managers would have gladly avoided on Day 1 of the Premiership. But what a game it turned out to be at the end.
It was Arsenal who took the lead in 31′ through Theo Walcott after missing a penalty a few minutes earlier. But Liverpool fought back between the end of the first 45′ and the opening of the second half turning the result with two goals from Brazilian forward Phillippe Coutinho and a goal from Adam Lallana to make the score read 3-1 for Liverpool.
Arsenal seemed shocked and Sadio Mané made 4-1 in the 63′. Everything seemed lost but the Gunners fought back and managed to score twice from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (64′) and Calum Chambers (75′ minutes) but could not avoid defeat.
