A 72′ goal from Pedro broke the deadlock at Stamford Bridge to put leaders Chelsea on the road to victory.
Up to that moment although dominating, Chelsea only managed to put the ball just once behind Swansea keeper Fabianski through Fabregas in the 19′.
Some outstanding saves by ex Arsenal Fabianski and Llorente‘s equaliser on the stroke of half time, kept Swansea in the game.
Chelsea were lucky to escape from going behind when Swansea were denied a clear penalty when Azpilicueta inside the area before Pedro and Diego Costa sealed the three points for the Premiership leaders.
At the bottom Crystal Palace are momentarily out of the bottom three following their home win over Middlesbrough from a Patrick van Aanholt strike from the edge of the box.
Whilst Hull failed to take all three points at home to Burnley when they had to settle for a draw after taking the lead from a Huddlestone penalty on the 72′, only for the visitors to equalise just 4′ later through Keane.
Sunderland remained bottom after going down at Goodison Park 2-0 against Everton. Gueye and Lukaku scored for the Toffees.
Finally home win for West Brom over Bournemouth with goals from Dawson and McAuley, after a 5′ penalty from King had put the visitors in front.
While Watford had to settle for a draw againt West Ham after going ahead from a 3′ penalty by Deeney in a game which saw Mauro Zarate coming off with a probable serious knee injury.
With Ayew getting the equaliser after Gomez was outstanding with a save on Jose Fonte‘s header and Antonio‘s header missed by a few millimetres.
