Aston Villa and Leeds could only manage a draw as Burton continues to add to Rotherham miseries as they took all three points.
Aston Villa failed to take precious points in their bid to raise themselves in the table and challenge for promotion as they could only manage a draw against highly rated Leeds fourth in the table and looking forward to be promoted.
In the first period it was the home side who went close to open the score especially through Kodjia with Peter Green outstanding in Leeds‘ goal.
After the break it was Garry Monk‘s men to take the lead on the 54’ from Pontus Jansson who headed in from a corner and later went close to seal victory for Leeds but only managed to hit the crossbar.
But with just 4′ to go Liam Cooper handled the ball in the area and gave Villans forward Kodjia the chance to equalize from the penalty spot.
Meantime at the bottom three important points for Burton who away from home continued to add to Rotherham misery beating them 2-1.
O’Grady and Irvine gave the Brewers a two first half goal lead and only for Tom Adeyemi to pull one back before the end of the half.
But the Millers lacked the quality to find an equalizer leaving them at the bottom of the table whilst Burton moved five points clear of relegation zone.
