Another two goals for Harry Kane and one from Alli puts Spurs in second place after defeating at home Everton 3-2. Comfortable win for City, third, away at bottom placed Sunderland.
Once again Spurs hero is Harry Kane whose two goals not only helped him to lead the top scorers table but put his team in second place just seven away behind leaders Chelsea who still have to play in the Monday Night.
The 23-year old striker hit Everton after 20′ play and doubled the score just after the break to put Tottenham on their way to victory.
On the other end Romelu Lukaku hit back in the 81′ to put back the Toffees in the game with their second effort on target.
But Dele Alli restored Spurs two goal margin in the 92′ before a minute later Valencia hit back again for Everton to make the score read 3-2.
In the other match City had a comfortable win over bottom placed Sunderland to go third in the table.
It was Sergio Aguero who fired City in the lead at the stroke of half time with Leroy Sané doubling in the second half.
Both these wins will certainly put pressure on Chelsea as the face West Ham in one of the many London derbies.
