Without any doubt the sensation of Day 15 is Brescia 4-0 victory over leaders Cagliari, with goals all in the second 45’ by Caracciolo, Kupisz with two goals and Embalo. Midway the first half, a serious injury hit Cagliari’s captain Dessena who will for sure miss the rest of the season. Although defeated, Cagliari still leads with a point on second place Crotone and two over Bari, who only managed a draw at Como, leveling through De Luca, after going down to Simone Ganz goal.
New manager Bartolo Mutti could do little to lift his new side Livorno defeated at home by Novara only goal from Gonzalez. Away wins were also registered by Perugia 2-1 at Avellino with goals from ex Juve Stabia Di Carmine and Perugini, whislt early in the game a great volley by Gavazzi had put home side ahead and for Entella with an only goal from Caputo which puts Hernan Crespo and his Modena in deep trouble.
Home wins were registered by Ternana who defeated Vicenza 2-0 with goals from Ceravolo and Falleti and Lanciano who defeated Latina 2-1 with the two goals coming from Piccolo, one from the penalty spot, after Acosty levelled the score and Corvia missed a penalty for Latina.
