With Monday’s results, Arsenal travelled to Bournemouth with the intention to earn all three points and get back in third place ahead of City, but the Cherries put in an outstanding performance which surprised the Gunners who succumbed three goals and were heading to defeat.
After 20′ play Wenger‘s boys were already 2-0 down when first Charlie Daniels and then Callum Wilson from the penalty spot gave the home crowd something to cheer about.

In the other two games played yesterday, Swansea before their new manager, ex-Bayern Munich assistant manager Paul Clement, earned three vital points by beating 2-1 Crystal Palace to move off the bottom of the table.
Goals from Mawson and Rangel gave the Swans their first victory in months whilst for the Eagles, Zaha earned a momentarily equaliser.
With this defeat Crystal Palace are now fourth from bottom just a point above Sunderland and Swansea as they managed to earn only a point since Sam Allardyce took over from Alan Pardew.
Finally goals from Shawcross and Crouch saw Stoke City beat Watford 2-0 at the Bet365 Stadium to move to eleventh place in the table with 24 points while Mazzarri is faced with a big problem to lift his side which has dropped to fourteenth place just 7 points away from red zone.
