If the last season surprised everyone with little Leicester winning the title, this year it’s going to be a different story. Both the Manchester teams United and City, together with the London teams, Chelsea, ArsenalTottenham, and Liverpool will be out for revenge after having a disappointing season.

It will be a clash between some of the best managers in business. José Mourinho against Pep Guardiola, Arsène Wenger against Antonio Conte, Mauricio Pochettino against Jurgen Klopp, not forgetting reigning Champion Claudio Ranieri. To these one has to include the other italians Francesco Guidolin and newcomer Walter Mazzarri, not forgetting foreign managers of the like of dutchman Ronald Koeman, croatian Slaven Bilic, the other french and spanish managers Claude Puel and Aitor Karanka, opposed to the home based like Steve Bruce, Eddie Howe, Mark Hughes, Alan Pardew and newcomers Sean Dyche and David Moyes who returns to the Premier to take the place of newly appointed English Manager Sam Allardyce at Sunderland.

Taking a look at 20 teams, Manchester United and City together with Chelsea are the favourites for this season title.

The Red Devils under new manager José Mourinho have so far been the protagonists of the transfer market, signing players of the magnitude of swedish Zlatan Ibrahimovic on free transfer, creative wizard Henrikh Mikhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund and the talented defender Eric Bailly from Villareal and most probably the signing of the century for the fee involved Paul Pogba from Juventus, making the side a major force in this Premiership.

On the other side of Manchester, the Blues under spanish manager Pep Guardiola a name associated with success having won in Spain and Germany. For sure City will be a force to reckon with having signed Ilkay Gundogan in midfield and speedy spanish winger Nolito. One thing is for sure Pep Guardiola will want to continue the series of success even in the Premier League.

Going to London, Chelsea under italian manager Antonio Conte, after a very disappointing season, will be all out to prove themselves and try to win the title. Chelsea‘s new signings till now are Michy Batshuayi and in midfield the newly crowed champion with Leicester, N’Golo Kante. What is for sure is that Conte will be very demanding from his players from the very start.

The other London teams Arsenal and Tottenham will for sure a force which the above three teams have to battle for top flight. The same can be said of Liverpool which in respect to last season will start under Jurgen Klopp who came in to substitute Brendan Rodgers in mid season.

Last mention for reigning champions Leicester. For the Foxes this season will be fundamental having to play in mid week in the Champions League. Claudio Ranieri and his men will be all out at least to confirm themselves as one of the top teams in English Football.
